How Long Does It Take to Hear Back After a Harvey Interview?

Does Harvey Send Rejection Emails?

Candidates report an automatic rejection email rather than a personal note. One published account describes a rejection after a take home task, sent by the system with no reason given. The same candidate asked for feedback and received no reply.

Harvey does not publish a feedback policy. Treat an unanswered request as normal, not as a judgement on your work. A small company with few recruiters answers few of these requests.

Ask for the decision date while you are still in the process. That question is almost always answered.

How to Follow Up

Wait one week after a screen, and ten business days after the onsite. Write once, to the recruiter who scheduled you.

What to Wear

Most Harvey rounds happen on video, but the final round can be in person. Harvey lists offices in several cities, including San Francisco and New York, and it also lists remote roles.

Candidates report onsite meetings at the San Francisco and New York offices. The format is mixed, so confirm it with your recruiter before the final round.

For a video round, a plain shirt in one solid color is right. Test your camera, your microphone, and your screen sharing the day before.
