Threat modeling has a reputation as a heavy process owned by a security team, producing a document nobody reads. That version exists and it is not what this lesson is about.

The useful version is a structured hour over a design you already have, done by the engineers who built it, producing a short list of things to change. It is closer to a code review than to an audit.
