Introduction to Django Forms

A web form is the part of a page where a visitor types something and sends it to the server: a comment under an article, a search box, a sign-up page. The browser does the easy half of the job. The server has the harder half, because it must read each submitted value, check it, convert it from text to the right Python type, and send the page back with clear messages when something is wrong.

Django's forms library does that server-side work for you
