Deploying a Django Project

Deploying means running the project on a server that the public can reach, with production settings, a production database and a real web server in front of Django. runserver cannot do this job: it is built for one developer, it serves static files only while DEBUG is True, and Django's documentation calls it unsuitable for production. This lesson takes the blog through the remaining steps: settings that come from the environment, a production database, static files, an application server, and migrations on every release.
