Responsible Use

After each request, an AI support feature could write any of these seven fields to its log:

  1. The user's message, exactly as typed
  2. A card number the user pasted into the chat
  3. The name of the model that answered
  4. The version of the prompt template
  5. The input and output token counts
  6. The user's email address
  7. The time the request took

Which of them belong in the log? Earlier lessons said to log every call, and that advice stands. But a log is copied, searched, and kept for months, often by many people
