Buffered vs. unbuffered channels
Channels in Go come in two types:
- Unbuffered Channels → Data transfer happens only when both sender and receiver are ready.
- Buffered Channels → Data is stored temporarily until the receiver is ready.
Understanding their differences is crucial for optimizing concurrent applications.
Unbuffered Channels
An unbuffered channel transfers data only when both sender and receiver are ready. If one side is not ready, the program blocks (waits) until the other side is available.
