Go - else if Statement
The else if statement in Go allows checking multiple conditions in sequence. It is used when there are more than two possible outcomes, ensuring that only one condition is executed.
When an if condition is true, its block executes, and the remaining conditions are skipped. If the first condition is false, Go checks the next else if condition. If none of the conditions are true, the else block (if present) executes.
Syntax of the else if Statement
