Advanced Form Attributes

Two boxes in the same form can look alike, both showing a value and both refusing to let the visitor change it, and yet only one of them reaches the server. The difference is a single attribute: disabled on one box, readonly on the other. This lesson compares those two attributes, then covers three more that change how a form behaves: autocomplete, which helps the browser fill in fields; novalidate and formnovalidate, which switch the checks of the previous lesson off; and multiple, which lets one field hold several values.
