Basics of TreeSet Class
The TreeSet class in Java is a concrete implementation of the NavigableSet interface, which extends the SortedSet interface. It stores elements in sorted order. By default, it arranges its elements in their natural order (for example, alphabetical order for strings or ascending order for numbers).
A key advantage of using TreeSet is that it automatically sorts the elements as they are added, while also ensuring that all elements are unique.
- Sorted Order: Automatically sorts elements in natural order.
- Unique Elements: Does not allow duplicate values.
