While the Bulkhead pattern undoubtedly enhances the resilience of our distributed systems, like every design pattern, it comes with its considerations and potential pitfalls. Understanding these is critical to using the pattern well and avoiding undesired side effects.

The main gain of the Bulkhead pattern is that useful work continues during a failure. As we saw in the Java example, one slow service no longer stops the rest. The risk of the whole service stalling because of one bad dependency drops sharply.

In the previous chapter, we discussed about createOrder works with inventoryService.checkAndUpdateInventory and shippingService.scheduleShipping with multi-thread.

And also this chapter mentioned error handling, but I cannot imagine the real-world error handling.

What if checkAndUpdateInventory error while scheduleShipping passed, how can we handle error and respond value to let users know or how can we handle to make them finish both?
