Capstone: A Checkout Across Four Services

1. The Exercise

"Your checkout spans Orders, Inventory, Payments, and Fulfillment, each with its own database. Design the data flow so that no crash, retry, or outage leaves the system in a wrong state. Then I'm going to break it in three places."

This capstone puts the whole module together as one working machine. It is also the deepest standard probe in microservices interviews. The question is not "define the saga." It is "make one survive."
