This course made one argument from its first lesson to its last. Microservices interviews are not vocabulary tests.

Every question is really asking the same three things. That is true of "what is a saga?" and just as true of "design food delivery."

  1. Do you know what this architecture costs?
  2. Can you justify a decision with evidence?
  3. Do you think about failure before you are asked?

Patterns are what you talk about. Judgment is what gets scored.
