Introduction: More Interview Questions

Knowing a rule is different from applying it within an interview's time limit.

You may know that collections need pagination, that retried creates need idempotency, and that stale conditional writes return 412. An interview question does not ask you to recite those facts. It gives you a product, leaves several requirements unstated, and asks you to decide which facts matter before the time is over.

This chapter applies the earlier rules to six different products. The aim is to practise selecting the decisions that matter for each set of requirements.
