The 10 Minute API Answer

The architecture discussion has consumed fifty minutes.

The interviewer points to the client and says:

"Before we finish, show me the API."

Ten minutes remain.

One wrong response is to restart the interview at full size. The other is to list ten endpoint names and call that an API.

The goal is a small complete answer: one caller, one important flow, a narrow resource model, a few operation names, one operation in full, one hard part, and one cost.

Every step survives, and only the breadth changes.
