“Design a mobile app that backs up photos and videos, resumes interrupted transfers, and reports backup status accurately.”

Start by defining deletion behavior. In this exercise, deleting a photo from the device does not delete its backup. Deleting the cloud copy is a separate action. Two-way deletion requires a different contract.
