Know the Vocabulary

This lesson uses the terms below repeatedly. Read them once now and return here when a later section needs one.

• Quality attribute: A measurable property of how well a system does its job, such as how fast it responds or how often it is down, as opposed to what the system does.
• Changeability: How much work and risk a typical change takes, from the first edit to the change running safely in production.
• Change lead time: The time from a code change being committed to that change running in production.
