Serverless Architecture

The word serverless is a misleading name.

Servers absolutely exist. Your code runs on them.

What disappears is your relationship with them: you do not provision them, patch them, size them, scale them, or pay for them while they sit idle. You hand the platform a unit of code and a description of when to run it, and the platform handles everything between "an event happened" and "your code executed."

This shifts the engineering problem
