Accessing Device Sensors

A phone lying still on a table reports that it is accelerating. Its accelerometer reads about 1 g on one axis, because the sensor measures the force of gravity along with any real movement. This detail decides how you write motion code, and it shows that a sensor reports raw physical values that your code must interpret.
