3.9 Cache Memory Sizing

Choosing an eviction policy decides which keys Redis removes at the limit, but not how often the instance reaches that limit. The previous lesson covered the maxmemory directive, the ten eviction policies, and how Redis approximates LRU, LFU and LRM by sampling.

This lesson sizes the memory itself. It starts from the working set, follows a product cache from its access logs to a maxmemory value and a machine size, and ends with the INFO fields to watch and the common pitfalls.
