2.12 Streams and Geospatial Indexes

Strings, hashes, lists, sets, and sorted sets cover most needs, but three kinds of problem fit them poorly. The first is an append-only log of events that several readers consume at their own pace. The second is "what is near this point," and the third is "have I probably seen this before," answered in a small, fixed amount of memory.
