5.5 Stream Operations and Messaging Choices

Every entry in a stream stays in memory until it is trimmed, and that fact shapes how you run streams in production. The previous lesson built the events stream that an order service writes and a billing service reads. It covered the data model, consumer groups with the PEL and XACK, at-least-once delivery, the recovery of stuck and poison entries, and replay from any ID.

This lesson covers running that stream: memory, durability, duplicate producers, monitoring, cleanup and Cluster layout
