Hi, I am just curious about the SPOF(Single Point of Failure). I mean one of the major reason for a distributed system is to avoid SPOF. So, how are we dealing with this while using Load Balancer. Isn't the Load Balancer a SPOF here?

Yes when you have a single load balancer. You can decide to have multiple load balancers across geographical regions thereby eliminating SPOF
