1. Frame the Problem: The Funnel Transfers

"Design Instagram's feed" or "design LinkedIn's feed" sounds like a brand-new problem. It is not. You already have the shape from the recommendation funnel: a stage that pulls candidates, a ranker that scores hundreds of them, and a rule layer on top. Do not rebuild that from scratch. Say out loud that it transfers, then spend your time on what a social feed changes.
