Should we be able to answer the problem challenges on our own after going through the previous challenges? Is it okay that for some things I still need to look at the solution?

Once you have gone through all the problems of a pattern, try solving the challenges before looking at the solution. If you are stuck, don't spend too much time on it and see the solution.

Hello, I have a question regarding this condition:

if window_end >= len(pattern) - 1:

where the explanation says

"If the window size is greater than the length of the pattern, shrink the window to make it equal to the pattern’s size"

if you choose to work with :window_size = window_end - window_start + 1 then you should be able to pull it off with:

if window_size >= len(pattern):

we want the equal sign because we want out window to move by one as soon as the window_size reaches the pattern's lengt...
