LinkedIn is a social network for professionals. Its main goal is to let members connect with people they know and trust at work. It also helps members find new chances to grow their careers.

A member's profile page shows their skills, work history, and education. It also has a feed of news from their professional network, with modules the member can arrange.

LinkedIn looks and works much like Facebook. Its features are more specialized because they serve professionals. If you know how to use Facebook or a similar social network, LinkedIn will feel familiar.
