1. How This Capstone Works

Five lessons, five patterns, and one discipline underneath them: capacity follows the bottleneck. This capstone grows one service through four powers of ten, and at every stage the exam is the same three questions: where is the bottleneck now, what is the cheapest adequate tool to move it, and, just as important, what are we not going to scale yet?
