What is Grokking Google Coding Interview?
It is the 50 coding questions asked most frequently in Google interviews, each split into a problem lesson you attempt in the browser and a solution lesson with the approach, diagrams, code in six languages, and the complexity analysis.
Who is this course for?
Engineers with a Google loop coming up. It assumes you already have your data structures and coding patterns and want targeted, final-phase practice. If the patterns themselves are still new, work through Grokking the Coding Interview first and come back to this in the last few weeks.

How hard are Google coding interviews?
Harder than most, and the difficulty split here reflects it: 10 of the 50 problems are genuinely hard, and the medium band skews toward the upper end of medium. Google also weights how you arrive at a solution more heavily than most companies, which is why every solution lesson walks through the reasoning rather than presenting finished code.
How are the problems distributed by difficulty?
15 easy, 25 medium, and 10 hard. The medium band is deliberately the largest, because that is where most interview slots sit, but the hard chapter is worth doing rather than skipping given how often Google reaches into it.
Which programming languages are supported?
Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Go, and C#. Every solution is given in all six, so you can practise in the language you plan to use on the day.
Is this enough on its own to prepare for Google?
For the coding rounds it is strong, focused preparation, but the loop is wider than coding. Google also runs system design and behavioral rounds, and no problem list can promise the exact questions you will be asked. Treat the 50 as a way to recognise structures quickly rather than as a set to memorise.
How is this different from Grokking the Coding Interview?
Grokking the Coding Interview teaches pattern recognition from scratch across more than 300 problems. This narrows to one company and assumes those patterns are already there. The natural sequence is patterns first and this second, in the weeks immediately before the interview.
Is the course text-based or video-based?
Text-based, with runnable code and diagrams on the solutions. Practice means attempting, failing, and rereading the walkthrough, and that loop is much tighter on a page than in a video.
