How Long Does It Take to Hear Back After a Goldman Sachs Interview?
Most Goldman Sachs candidates report a few days to about two weeks for a decision after the Superday. The Superday is Goldman's name for the final block of three to five interviews.
The full process usually takes several weeks. Campus hiring takes longer than experienced hiring, because it runs on a fixed recruiting season.

Two Goldman stages have their own timing rules. The HireVue video interview is recorded, not live. Candidates report about five questions, with roughly 30 seconds to think and up to two minutes to answer each one.
The invitation includes a deadline. Your wait only starts once you record it, so record early.
The HackerRank coding test is two or three problems in 60 to 120 minutes. Partial credit exists, so submit working code for every problem.
The live screen after it runs on CoderPad, a shared online editor. It has to fit one engineer's calendar, which is the usual reason for the wait before a Superday invitation.
Does Goldman Sachs Send Rejection Emails?
Goldman does not publish its rejection practice. So this section describes the common pattern, not a stated policy.
Silence is most likely at the two automated stages. The HireVue recording and the HackerRank test are reviewed in volume, and neither one puts you in contact with a person.
Scores are not shared. Goldman does not publish HireVue results, test results, or interviewer notes.
After a Superday the recruiter collects feedback and calls you. A call booked soon after the day is a good sign, though not a guarantee.
How to Follow Up
Send one short email to your recruiter. Wait about one week after the Superday, and two weeks after an automated stage.
Hi [name], thank you for arranging my Superday last Thursday. I enjoyed the coding round and the conversation about how the team ships changes. Could you tell me the status of my application and the next step? I am glad to wait if the team needs more time.
Send it once. If nothing comes back in another week, send one more. Then treat the role as closed for this season.
Can You Reapply, and How Soon?
Goldman does not publish a single reapply rule for every role. Campus applicants should check the rules for the current recruiting season, because the number of roles you may apply to at once can be limited.
About six months to one year is the usual advice for experienced roles. A new team and a stronger resume make the second try more useful than a fast repeat.
If you failed the coding test, that is the stage to fix. If you failed the Superday, prepare consistent stories instead, because several interviewers compare notes.
What to Wear
Goldman is a bank, so its interviews are more formal than a technology company's. Many rounds are on video, and the Superday can be in person or remote.
Wear business formal clothing for the Superday. A suit is the safe choice for men and women, in the office or on camera.
For a video round, keep the shirt one solid color. Thin stripes and shiny fabric look poor on camera.
For the recorded HireVue, treat it as a live round. Look at the camera, sit against a plain wall, and dress the same way.
