How Long Does It Take to Hear Back After a Wiz Interview?

Public reports on Wiz wait times are scarce. Wiz does not publish a hiring timeline on its careers site. Candidates report about four to seven weeks from the recruiter screen to a decision. The early rounds usually take a few business days each.

Booking the final panel is the slowest step. After the panel, about one week is common before an answer.

Wiz is now part of Google Cloud, so ask your recruiter whether any extra approval step applies to your offer. The waits in the table below are typical for companies of this size, not confirmed.

Timeline by Stage

The panel usually causes the longest wait. Wiz runs several conversations close together, so several people must be free at the same time. Most Wiz engineers work from Tel Aviv, and the headquarters is in New York City.

Wiz also lists offices in London, Paris, Tokyo, Amsterdam, and Sydney. A panel split across two time zones takes longer to book. Ask your recruiter where your interviewers sit.

Does Wiz Send Rejection Emails?

Wiz does not publish a rejection policy or a feedback policy. At companies of this size, a short template email after a screening round is the normal practice.

Detailed written feedback is rare anywhere, and Wiz has not said otherwise. The best moment to ask for reasons is the recruiter call, not an email afterwards.

Wiz does publish one useful rule about contact. The company states that its real job posts appear only on wiz.io/careers and on its LinkedIn company page. It also states that Wiz recruiters write from wiz.io email addresses only.

Wiz says its recruiting never asks for bank or credit card details, or for a tax identification number. If a message about your application asks for any of those, treat it as a fake. Wiz publishes a security address for reporting those messages.

How to Follow Up

Send one email to your recruiter. Wait until five business days past any date they gave you.

If they gave no date, wait ten business days after the interview. Ask one clear question and keep the note short.

Hi [Name], thank you for the [round name] interview on [date]. I am still very interested in the [role] team at Wiz. Could you tell me where my application stands and what the next step is? I am happy to wait if the panel is still being scheduled.

Send that message once. If no reply arrives in another week, send one more. Then assume the role is filled and keep applying elsewhere.

Can You Reapply, and How Soon?

Wiz does not publish a reapply rule. About six months is the usual waiting period for the same role at companies of this size. A rejection after the recruiter screen is often about role fit, so a different opening can be worth trying sooner.

After a panel rejection, you need new evidence before you try again. Release a project, change level, or learn the part that went badly. Wiz lists open roles only on its own careers page and its LinkedIn page, so check both when you try again.

What to Wear

Most Wiz interviews happen on video. Wear a plain shirt in one solid color. Busy patterns blur on camera, so avoid them.

Test your camera, microphone, and light the day before. Sit with the light in front of you, not behind you.

For an office visit, add clean trousers and closed shoes. Wiz does not publish a dress code, and a suit is not expected at a software company.

Wiz says people can work from an office, fully remote, or a mix of the two. Ask whether your final round is in person at all. Bring a photo ID and a charger.
