Atlassian CGPA Requirement: Is There a Minimum?
Atlassian does not publish a minimum CGPA for any role. Its job posts ask for skills and experience, not a grade point number. If you apply directly on the careers site, no grade filter is stated.
The confusion comes from campus hiring. When a company recruits through a college placement cell, the cutoff is usually set in that process. Candidates report cutoffs near 7.0 on a 10 point scale at some Indian campuses.
That number is not an Atlassian policy. It changes by college, by year, and by role.

If your CGPA is below your college cutoff, apply off campus. The online route does not use that filter.
What Atlassian Actually Screens For
Atlassian's early rounds are technical. A coding assessment or a live coding round comes before anyone looks closely at your transcript.
Recruiters look for four things on a resume. They want working projects, internships, real code you can point to, and clear evidence of teamwork.
Grades act as a weak signal at best. A high CGPA with no projects is weaker than a modest CGPA with shipped work.
Experienced candidates see this even more clearly. Once you have a year or two of work, almost nobody asks for a transcript. Your last project becomes the whole resume.
If Your CGPA Is Low
Do not explain it unless you are asked. Spend that space on evidence instead.
Put two projects at the top of your resume. For each, write what it does, the scale it handled, and your part in it. One line each.
Make the code public. A repository with a readme and tests is stronger proof than any grade.
If you are asked directly, answer in two sentences. Name the reason without blame, then name what you did about it. Then move on.
The Rounds That Decide It
Atlassian runs a coding assessment, then technical interviews, then a values interview. The values round is not a formality. It carries real weight in the decision.
Atlassian is known for a take-home or timed coding task for some roles. The task usually asks for clean, working code rather than a hard algorithm.
Later rounds cover system design at senior levels, and product sense for some teams. New graduates get more data structures and less design.
A Study Plan That Works Without Grades
Give yourself eight weeks if you can.
Spend weeks one to four on data structures and coding patterns. Solve 8 to 10 problems per pattern, not hundreds at random.
Spend weeks five and six on one real project. Ship it, write the readme, and add tests.
Spend the last two weeks on the values round and mock interviews. Say your answers out loud, not in your head.
