How Long Does It Take to Hear Back After a Myntra Interview?

Most reported waits at Myntra run from a few days to about two weeks per stage. Candidates describe gaps of a few days between the later rounds, and longer gaps after applying and after the final round. Myntra does not publish response times, so every figure here is a reported range.

Internship loops are much faster: one candidate on the RampUp track reports hearing the result of the first interview within about 30 minutes, and the final result the next day. Review site aggregates place the median for software engineer roles near two weeks from first contact to decision, and individual reports run both shorter and longer.

Timeline by Stage

StageTypical waitWhat is happening

After the online assessmentDays to about two weeks, when reportedScoring and shortlisting
Between technical roundsMinutes in internship loops, days otherwiseInterviewer feedback and scheduling
After the design or LLD roundDaysCode review and panel discussion
After the hiring manager roundDays to about two weeksPanel alignment and approval

The table shows what candidates report, not a published policy, so treat every row as a range rather than a promise.

Does Myntra Send Rejection Emails?

Candidates report both outcomes: some receive a clear message from the recruiter, while others report no message at all after a round, which is the more common complaint.

Detailed feedback is rare, which is typical for companies of this size, though Myntra does not confirm it. The panel format makes individual feedback harder to release, because several interviewers score the same candidate.

Do not treat silence as a decision. Keep interviewing elsewhere until you have a written answer, because scheduling delays and rejections produce the same silence.

How to Follow Up

Write to your recruiter rather than to the interviewer, and send the first message about five working days after the round, with a second message about a week later. Keep it short and specific.

"Hello [name], thank you for arranging the [round name] on [date]. I am writing to ask about the current status of my application for the [role] position. I remain very interested in the team, and I am happy to share anything else that would help. Could you let me know the expected timeline for the next step?"

Two follow-ups are enough, and after that, assume the process has stopped and use your time on other applications.

Can You Reapply, and How Soon?

Myntra does not publish a reapplication policy, and the common practice at product companies of this size is a wait of six to twelve months after a rejection. That figure is typical rather than confirmed by Myntra.

Two things help a second attempt. First, apply to a different team or a different level, because a rejection is usually specific to one loop. Second, bring new evidence, such as a larger system you now own or a stronger record on algorithm problems. A referral also helps, because referred applications are screened faster at most companies.

The Notice Period Question

Indian recruiters ask about your notice period early, often in the first call. Give the real number of days in your contract, and say whether your employer allows a buyout, which means paying to leave sooner.

Recruiters use this answer to plan a start date, so answer honestly to avoid problems later. Nothing in candidate reports suggests that Myntra requires an unusually short notice period.

What to Wear

Many Myntra interviews are conducted on video, including the coding rounds. Wear a plain shirt in a solid color, and avoid strong patterns, because they compress poorly on video. Sit with the light in front of you rather than behind you, and test your camera, your microphone, and your connection an hour before the interview.

Candidates also report rounds held in the office, especially for the later stages, where smart casual clothing is safe. Myntra is a fashion company, so a neat and current outfit is a reasonable choice, but formality is not expected. For campus placement interviews, follow the rule your placement cell gives you.

What to Do While You Wait

Use the waiting time to prepare. Keep practicing algorithm problems, because a second loop may begin with the same assessment, and write down the questions you were asked while you still remember them. If the machine coding or design round was difficult, build the same program again without a timer and study what you missed.
